Western Washington artists take the spotlight at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom’s Fine Arts Gallery


LAKEWOOD — The Fine Arts Gallery at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom will celebrate the work of Western Washington artists in the annual Pierce Artists exhibition Feb. 27-April 6.

An artists’ reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 7. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome to attend.

The Pierce Artists show is an annual event that highlights the work of exceptional Western Washington artists. This year’s show features paintings, photographs, sculpture, weaving, and prints. Featured artists are Dr. Jo Anne Geron, Robert Koch, Lisa Mellinger, Jim Oliver, Dr. Key Sun, Karin Williams, Joyce Ryan, Lavonne Holvik, Sarah Waldo, and Lorraine Toler.

The Fine Arts Gallery is located at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom, Olympic Building, Room 265, 9401 Farwest Drive SW, Lakewood. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to noon Friday.
